Kona Kandy Coffee Stout


Our favorate coffee is made from Estate grown Kona peaberry coffee beans. Usually the coffee cherry contains two seeds. When only one of the two seeds of the coffee cherry are fertilized, it forms a single coffee bean that is called a peaberry. Less than 5% of the coffee crop are peaberries.

Peaberry coffee beans roast better than normal coffee beans because they have a higher bean density and are rounder. The round shape helps the beans roll around better in the roasting chamber.

We roast our own coffee beans. Since this is the coffee we drink at the brewery, this is the coffee we use in our Coffee Stout.

You will find no finer Coffee Stout.
